Harry Matthews is a multi-instrumentalist who has
spent years traveling, living with and studying the music of the Bauls
- the nomadic minstrels of Bengal, India. As one half of the Swift
Brothers he co-wrote, produced and performed the opera Eight
Eggs and a Pair of Fur Shoes, performed at the Brooklyn Illharmonic
to critical acclaim.
Dave Smith plays trombone in the experimental funk collective Burnt
Sugar (www.burntsugarindex.com) and leads the heavy jazz soul
group Who Put The Bad Mouth On Me.
Dave Kannenstine (bass) is featured on the latest release by Peter
Principle (Tuxedomoon) on LTM records. He has also recorded
and performed with Barbez, Carol Lipnik, Dawn McCarthy,
and Ray Bennett.

Studied At Drummers Collective & the Jazz Mobile School in Harlem
N.Y. Played with the Jazz Mobiles Big Band, Center Stage, Santiago,
Johanna, The Dan Whitley Band, The Diana Berry Band, Muthawit, Tarapith & many more.
Style of play: Is a mixture of Funk, Jazz & Rock fused together.
